Enrollment Information for 2025-2026 School Year
Thank you for your interest in Calvine High School.
Calvine is one of three continuation high schools in the Elk Grove Unified School District. Opened in 1992, Calvine has maintained a tradition of excellence while meeting the needs of students who benefit from a small and personalized learning environment.
Eligibility
Enrollment is voluntary; the following students are eligible:
- Must reside within the Elk Grove Unified School District attendance area
- Must be between the ages of 16 and 18 years old
- Must be in the process of earning their high school diploma
Steps to Enroll

- Referrals can be obtained through the high school within your designated attendance area | CLICK here to determine your school of attendance
- Referrals are completed and sent over by a counselor at the designated school of attendance.
* Students with an IEP must contact their case manager to initate the referral process
2. Orientation Apointment
- Once the referral is received, a member of our staff will contact you for an orientation appointment
- The student and a parent/guardian MUST attend the appointment
- Must bring required documents to your appointment
Required Documents:

- Parent/Guardian Identification (driver's license, passport military ID)
- Proof of Address (utility bill, vehicle registration, government issued documents)
Enrollment Considerations:
- Enrollment is based on available space
- New students are not enrolled in the last 4 weeks of the academic quarter
- Students are welcomed to join the waitlist
